Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect only what we need to deliver our courses, coaching and programs, and to stay in touch with people who have asked us to. We do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal information with anyone for their own marketing purposes — ever. You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it.

Transilience Partners Inc. (“Transilience”, “we”, “us”) is a Canadian company based in Ottawa, Ontario. This policy explains how we handle personal information under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

What we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, email address, and anything else you choose to tell us when you subscribe, register for a course or cohort, book a call, complete an assessment, or contact us.
• Purchase information. What you bought and when. Payment card details are handled entirely by our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.
• Information about your organization, when you engage us for coaching, cohorts or advisory work.
• Assessment and course responses. Your answers to diagnostics, scorecards and workbooks. These are yours. We use them to give you your results and to support your learning.
• Technical information. Basic log and analytics data — pages visited, browser type, approximate location — collected when you use our website.

Why we collect it

To deliver what you asked for; to give you access to courses, sessions and materials; to answer your questions; to send you the newsletter and program updates you have consented to receive; to process payments; to improve what we teach; and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Consent, and how to withdraw it

We add you to our mailing list only when you ask to be added. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can also email us and we will remove you. Withdrawing consent to marketing email does not affect your access to anything you have already purchased.

Who else touches your information

We use a small number of service providers to run the business — website and course hosting, assessment tools, payment processing, email delivery and analytics. They process your information only on our instructions and only to provide that service. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. The main ones are Kajabi (website, courses and email), ScoreApp (assessments and scorecards), and our payment processor.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, which means that information may be subject to the laws of those countries.

What we will never do

We will never sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we will never share it with a third party for that party’s own marketing.

We will also never share your individual coaching conversations, assessment results or course responses with your employer or sponsor without your explicit permission. Where an organization sponsors a cohort, any reporting we provide is aggregated and de-identified, and we tell participants in advance exactly what will be shared.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an active relationship with us, and afterwards only as long as we need it for legal, tax and accounting purposes. If you ask us to delete your information we will, except where we are legally required to keep a record of a transaction.

Keeping it secure

Access is limited to us and to the service providers named above. Our site runs over encrypted connections and our accounts are protected by multi-factor authentication. No system is perfect, but we treat your information the way we would want ours treated.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser; some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you what personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete it, or stop emailing you. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Our programs are for working adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced by email to subscribers.
